Drop Parker for A. Gonzales?

Postby stinkfingeredbeef » Fri Oct 23, 2009 2:13 pm

I'd like more depth at WR.

Current roster:
Brees
Fitzgerald, Colston, D. Jackson
R.Brown, Rice, K.Smith, Bradshaw, Choice, Parker
Colley, Shiancoe (for week 8)
Crosby
Baltimore, Indy

Parker has "lost" his starting job, but for how long? In other words, Parker could potentially still have some value. Is there a reason you're carrying to defensive teams? I'd rather drop one of them over dropping Parker. But, if there's a good reason for you carrying two, then I'd be okay with dropping Parker for Gonzales.

Baltimore is on bye, so I have Indy filling in. Is Baltimore droppable? They allow a lot of points but have had good TO points.

In my opinion, they are. I don't see them having much difference in points at the end of the season than Indy. Indy has a good schedule, a great offense, and only has one game in which an opponent has scored more than 20 points on them. But, I'd get more opinions on this than just mine

Didn't see today, but as of yesterday Gonzo hadn't practiced yet....so he is still a ways away from contributing....what I don't like is how Collie and Garson have filled in so well....I am a huge Gonzo fan....but I approach this with caution.....but may be a great add for the playoff run.....

I would drop the D...and keep Parker...While I think Mendy is now the starter and isn't going to give it up......injuries happen @ RB and Parker is capable......also if caryover potential.....depending on where parker goes could have value next year.....
