Who to start?? WHIR 100%

Postby JeRmZ » Fri Oct 23, 2009 2:55 pm

1/2 PPR league, playing roster QB, RB, RB, RB/WR, WR, WR, WR/TE, TE, K and IDP

my main questions come with my flex spots

QB - Brady
RB - MJD (Bye), DeAngelo Williams, Rice (Bye), J. Stewart, Donald Brown
WR - Desean Jackson, OchoStinko, Boldin, Harvin, Massaquoi, Wallace
TE - Shockey, Finley
K - Folk
IDP - already set

SO ...

1) Do I play both DeAngelo and Stewart vs. Buffalo's 32nd ranked run D? both went off vs. Tampa last week.
2) Do I play Donald Brown or Massaquoi at my RB/WR Flex?
3) Do I play Finley or Harvin, Massaquoi or Wallace at my WR/TE flex spot?

with Boldin being a game time decision on sunday night I can't risk having him in my line up can I?

leave a link and I WHIR!

I think I would roll with both Carolina backs.

I'm in agreement with NYJets. Go with both Carolina backs and Brown as your flex. Start DJax and Ocho with Harvin as your other flex.

Both Carolina backs

Brown at flex

Harvin at TE flex

Massaquoi can either go for 2 TDs or 2 fantasy points. I think that the way the browns QBs are going right now, the 2 fantasy points is more likely. NEVER play massaquoi until the browns figure out who is going to lead their team under center.

I like your three HB's to all start this week. So that tackles the HB and WR/HB flex spot.

And I'm going against the grain here and saying to play Finley for your WR/TE flex. I've said before that I don't like to play guys against Pitt unless they are legit studs, and Harvin is not one. I refuse to play players from bad teams unless I am absolutely forced to. I just read that DA has 11 completions the last two games, and there is no way that is enough completions to get me to play ANYONE from that team. Wallace has potential, but Minny does have a decent D... I kind of like him, and if you can't get yourself to agree on Finley, I would probably go Wallace there.

Here's why I like Finley: he has has recorded 11 catches, 182 yards and one TD in his last two games. And he's playing against the Browns, who place a pathetic 22nd against the pass, and are tied for 14th in TDs allowed through the air. With that many targets from Rodgers over the past couple of weeks, going against a defense that bad, I think his potential outweighs the potential of the other guys that you have to consider.
