Trade my Maroney for his McCoy?

Postby ampant » Fri Oct 23, 2009 5:17 pm

10 Team money league. full ppr

My RBs - Westy, Addai, Lynch, D Brown, Maroney, FJackson

This is just a depth/seatbelt move to lock up Philly's backfield and insure me against an injury to Westy.

I may be trading a starter for a backup, but I probably wouldn't start Maroney over Westy, Addai or Lynch anyways. Ans who knows how long he'll keep the starting gig?

Nobody ever knows about NE's back situation...I'd make the move, it will help you out in case Westbrook gets hurt...that wouldn't be a shock actually!!! And with Maroney, he's starting to come into his own, but I still don't trust him. Good luck with it and please help with mine (in the sig). Thanks!!! ;-D

I would take the trade. NE's RB situation reminds me of Denver's in the past.. you never know who is going to be the featured back week-to-week. McCoy is much more explosive than Maroney and fits Philly's scheme perfectly. Westbrook will more than likely get banged up at some point and McCoy would be a great handcuff.
