I hope he does well. Figure Gore taking the focus of the D will be negated by inferior QB play. 4 catches for 50 yards and a TD on a reverse.

I just hope he blocks good enough to spring Gore. That and keep his hamstrings intact to play another game. Anything else is gravy. Someone hold a $100 bill up in the endzone to keep him motivated though, I can't make it Houston. In leiu of the hundred, maybe a mirror or an autographed picture of himself?

Don't hate the player, hate the game. His "zero catches, zero TDs" are worth a buttload of money according to San Fran. Maybe you should blame them for not wanting to pay him in the first place. They eventually caved, so they obviously realize he's worth what he was asking, they just didn't want to pay him. They thought they could corner him into not having an NFL team if he didn't want to accept inferior money. Reminds me of pre-Free Agent days. Don't criticize him just because the NFL doesn't think he should have the same bargaining rights as all of the other players. Remember, it's all relative.

Anyway... I don't think he'll make a big impact right away since he's missed so much time, but I don't wish for him to get hurt because of it. I think the 9ers will be better off for signing him in the long-run, though it might be close to the end of the year before he's close to expectations. And I'm a 9er fan so I'm hoping he bumps them up to playoff contention. 5 targets, 3 catches, 32 yds, 0 TDs.

3 catches, 28 yards, plus he is a good enough decoy in the red zone to free up Vernon Davis for 2 TDs!

Yeah you think? I'm surprised Kensat didn't say he hopes he fails instead of actually contributing to the teams success. :-B
