That wasn't the competition but nice call! Does A. Smith take of the QB reigns now? Does this boost Crabtree/Davis's value?

Yes to both, in my opinion.

So in getting a chance to watch a little bit of Sunday's game I've got to say...Crabtree looks good.

For only being with the team a few weeks he's already opening up the field a bit for Vernon Davis and Frank Gore. If the 49ers could just get a little more healthy on their O-line they could really be a good team. Heck, someone like Josh Morgan might even become a better player with the increased attention to those guys.

Yeah he looked great catching the 6 balls for 80 yards. He runs his routes beautifully. Well worth the wait for SF IMO. He also looks to be a sneaky PPR play from here on out. 11 catches in his first two games? Me thinks it could only go up from there.

Definitely impressed in the early going. Considering he missed so much time and just kind of walked in there and started producing right away, he's some kind of player.

i cannot believe crabtree has been able to do what he is doing. i was one of the biggest critics during his holdout that he simply cannot come onto this team mid-way through the season and expect him to produce, let alone start a game. he has proven me very wrong and i am unbelievably happy for it as a niners fan, and i am now happily embracing him (as evidenced by my sig ;-D ). he has come in and has shown the potential that should have made him the #1 wideout off the board in the 09 draft. the kid so far looks a force and as a niners fan, can't be more thrilled. we havn't had a receiver with this much potential since T.O. left. he hasn't produced that explosive 150 yd and a td game yet but he is doing all the little things right that you wouldn't expect from a rookie who has missed this much time. can't wait for his first explosive game.
