PT or MBIII? WHIR

Postby SweeTLemonS » Fri Oct 23, 2009 10:08 pm

Those are my options at HB2 this week. I solidified my WR2 spot finally with Roddy White (traded for with Dallas Clark). And I got MBIII in the deal for Moreno.

PT vs Miami

or

MBIII vs Atlanta

I'm feeling like MBIII, despite having some injuries right now. PT is splitting with two people, and Bell is getting the goal line work, it seems, which is really hurting PT's value, I think. MBIII should get most of the goal line work, as well as some between the 20's.

So, who and why? Leave a link and I'll respond as soon as I can.

I think your logic is right on! Go with MBIII.

I would go with Barber in this situation, the Saints can score in so many ways and have so many backs to do it. Plus I believe Miami has a descent def against the run.

Another reason to start Barber over Thomas: Wildcat, Wildcat, Wildcat. It is going to get thrown at them all day, just like when Miami played the Colts, another pass heavy team. This keeps the ball in their hands and out of the hands of a dangerous QB. Manning had the ball for less then 15 minutes all game. This means that when NO does get its offense on the field, it will be in Brees' hands almost all the time.
