McNabb or Cutler? Which QB? WHIR!

Postby Dude_202 » Sat Oct 24, 2009 12:42 am

Jay Cutler @ Cinci
Donovan McNabb @ Washington

Who should get the start? McNabb could have that bounce back game on MNF but Cutler is playing a Cinci defense that is very generous against the pass, is missing their pass rusher in Odom, and let Matt Schaub pick them apart last week.

Who would you guys start? Thanks guys and WHIR ;-D

I really don't trust McNabb or that offense anymore. The Eagles played the preseason like they were going to be the new passing version of the Miami wildcat but all they seem to ever be is more confused than Richard Seymour announcing the Raiders are making the playoffs.

Washington is a top rated defense, and they are HUNGRY. They need a division win like nothing other and Jim Zorn, even with job security isn't going to let this game slip. The Eagles just can't put it together.

Cutler is on a team who will pass, pass and pass. There is no doubting this will be a close game. Look at the spread in just about every outlet that provides it. Cutler will not only be throwing, he will be successfully throwing. Yeah, he is going to get picked but if he goes without a TD this game, I'll literally eat my socks.

I think this is Cutler all the way. A couple weeks ago I would say go with McNabb since he's playing Washington. But he has not been performing (ranked below 25 for pass completion). Cutler on the other hand has been performing well, has a decent WR core, and Cincinnati is NOT the above .500 team some people think it is. Every win has come late, they almost lost to the BROWNS and they did lose to Houstin.

Play cutler

Any help with a Flex problem? http://www.fantasyfootballcafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=457227

Cutler, no doubt. Regardless of how McNabb and co have played recently, they're going against the number five overall D, and the number three passing D. The Redskins offense is what's killing them, not their D. Don't get that confused, because it will come back to haunt you. Not all good defenses translate to good fantasy D's, so don't let that fool you either.

On the other hand, Cutler has a fantastic MU against a team that has been awful against the pass, and just lost their top pass rusher. To me, there is no question who should start this week. Cutler all the way.
