Start Warner or Eli?

Postby Solitarybrood » Sat Oct 24, 2009 4:53 am

As the title says I'm having a hard time deciding on who to start between them.

Warner going up against NYG
Eli going up against ARI

My league scoring system
1 point for every 20 yards passing
10 point bonus at 300 yards passing
6 points for TD's

Its a toss up, but based on ARI coming east, I go with ELi coming off a bad game.

its not a toss up here.

Boldin will probly miss playing time, and the giants have the no 1 pass defense still even after brees ripped them apart.
Warner is no drew brees, he already lost his arm and doesnt take shots down field like he used to..warner has the oneof the worst Yards per atttempt in the league, but that is covered up by his consistant produtcion cause all he does is throw over 40 passes a game, and the giants defense is going to cause him alot of trouble..expect alot of dumpoffs again to hightower.

Eli Manning is a Top 10 QB, and he is playing the worst passing defense in the league, Hakeem Nicks, Steve Smith, and Manningham, along with an emerging Bradshaw...that offense is too much for cards to handle.

I would pick eli all day over warner
