After looking at this trade for a bit, I have started to like it. Benson looks solid this year. Warner has been playing well and has a good playoff schedule. The Patriots will not score 59 points every week, making Warner very near the same league as Brady.

I would do this trade.

I say yes, do it. Your very thin a rb and benson would be a serious upgrade at #2 RB spot.

Awesome screenname by the way. I think this is a tough call. Yes, you need an upgrade at #2 RB. But I just don't know if Warner will stay healthy all year. Personally, I would be shopping for a deal where I get a solid RB and a less injury-prone qb. If that doesn't work, then you can always come back to this deal.

I disagree with the above. The Pats have a very weak schedule coming up and I think you have other needs than QB. If you wait until the games are over today, you may be able to get a better deal. Warner would be OK for you, since the biggest threat with him is that he gets injured but you have a solid backup in Garrard.

Also, I think that if you're going to trade Brady, you need a different format to the deal. I'd be looking for a much lower end QB to be a backup to Garrard (maybe a guy in the Hasselbeck range), who I think would passable as starting QB. I'd also be looking to pick up a RB and a WR (I like White, but in a 3 WR league S.Moss should not be your WR2), at lease one of which was a RB1/WR1 (Benson fits that description nicely).

So in short, I would send a counter back to this guy that looked something like:

Brady for (his backup qb)/Benson/(his WR2)

I kinda like it... though as u can guess i am a huge fan of brady. Warner will put up solid numbers and has his bye week out of the way and Benson is playing well
