*Big $$$ 12 tm, H2H Hyper-performance/Milestone keeper league: QB-RB-RB-WR-WR-WR-TE-K-D/ST + several other options *Warner, Flacco *AP,*Bradshaw, Fargas, Chester T. *R.White,*B.Marshall,*Austin, Mason, Manningham, M.Wallace *Carlson, Scheffler *Crosby *MINN D/ST, SEA D/ST---(for wk 9 only vs DET!) (4-3, 2nd in overall points)
Became enamoured w/ Scheffler last MNF for obvious reasons, so is this a trend or do I stick with Carlson against a lackluster DAL secondary? I believe that SEA will need him dearly against a resurgent Cowboy squad... anyone?
I like Carlson at this point, for the very reason you stated - the Hawks will need him this week against Dallas. I just don't think we've seen enough of Scheffler this year to really justify starting him over Carlson. I think they are both kind of on the same plane, in the 8-12 overall range for TEs, but I just think you have to see more out of Scheff or less out of Carlson before making a wholesale change...
Thanks for the response coug, and I know it's not just because you are a Seahawk homer lol! I can see a shootout developing ---- assuming of course, Hasselbeck is adequately protected. Carlson is due for another TD or two ---- at least another big game. Why the hawks haven't been calling his number more is a mystery, I guess he's being asked to block more. Scheff is tempting, but I want to see how McDaniels will use his new toy at TE b4 starting him... thx for the confirmation, good to see an old-timer around the cafe...
