Ricky Williams trade value...??

Postby RaiderMike » Tue Oct 27, 2009 9:30 am

I need a Defense BAD....(skins and raiders are killing me)...and our league requires we carry 2 D's...14 teams, so there are not any good options on the WW.

With that said....Im thinking about dealing Ricky while his value is HIGH....no pun intended.

I was thinking about targeting a top 5 Defense and a solid #3/4 WR.

Is this a good move...??...or can I get more for him...??

my team is listed below in my sig.

Thanks.

Though your need for a top defense is the most glaring one on your team, giving up Ricky for a top-5 D/ST is WAY too much IMO. I think you should shoot more for a serviceable top-10 D like Denver or Indy and only lose someone like Bradshaw or Harvin in the process. You have plenty of Ds to target and you should be able to find someone who is willing to deal one of their Ds for depth - the key will be to find someone with two top Ds and then wrestle one of them away...

How come you guys have to keep 2 defenses anyway? I'm just interested in the rationale :-?

Hope this helps ;-D

Thanks...good points.

Maybe Harvin is a better option to put on the trade block. I am past both Housh and Roddy's bye weeks, so I can afford to deal Percy.

I want to hold on to Bradshaw b/c of Jacobs history with injury.

And to answer your question about the 2 D's in our league....Im not really sure why...i have been in the league for 4 years and its just the way it is. We have roster requirements that have to be met when we draft.

Thanks
