What to do for waivers this week *WHIR*

Postby THE SWAT TEAM » Tue Oct 27, 2009 1:39 pm

So this is an important week for me. I need some input on what to do for my RB corp.

We start 2 RB's (no flex).

As of right now I have Mendy, DWills, Maroney, Sammy Morris and Fargas.

Considering Morris, Mendy and Maroney were going to be on byes for week 8 I picked up Fargas because at the time he seemed like the best of what was available on the wire considering he goes against the Chargers this week.

However, considering what has happened in the last couple of days. Now I need some input.

With Shonne Greene now likely being a hot name and with LJ being suspeneded for who knows how long this is what I wanna find out:

First off, as of right now I have a claim to drop Fargas and pick up Greene. However since I am last on the list this week because of my 6-1 record I really doubt i will get him.
Anyone know who would be tops on the Pats depth chart if Morris comes back in week 9 for the Pats?

2nd off, with LJ likely being suspended and the Chiefs having a good playoff schedule. If I can't get Greene, what would you think of me dropping either Morris or Maroney to get Charles of KC? Bad team I know, but good playoff schedule.

I still think Maroney is the guy who starts the game in NE but not necessarily the #1 guy ya know?

Drop Fargas for Greene and put in another back up transaction for Jamaal Charles. I think Charles is the better pickup since he's the new #1 and Greene is a back up still.

Haley has openly stated how much he likes Charles. I'd shoot for him first and take Greene if you had to.

Just remember that Charles has a bye in Week 8 as well. My recommendation is for the long-term.

Good luck, and please see mine:
