WR and Flex Questions!!! WHIR!!!

Postby makimaki » Wed Oct 28, 2009 11:58 am

Hey guys, couple of quick questions I'm sure you can help with. Lost Washington as my Flex so I'm thinking I'll play Fargas for the time being. I could also start Royal or Harvin, it's PPR and we count return TD's. What do you guys think? I could also sit Crabtree and use Royal or Harvin as my WR3.

I also just picked up Arizona to play this week instead of Denver. I usually don't keep 2 D/ST's but I have Rice and if he scores I might lose some of those points as a result of Denver giving up scores. Good move or just stick it out with Denver?

Harvin seems to be breaking one off every week, I would start Harvin in place of Fargas. I would also start the Arizona D and bench Denver this week.

I do like Fargas this week (especailly as a replacement for Washington...bummer) but not as much as i like Harivn against GB....we saw Favre have a huge game last time around, mostly bc the GB defense is vulnerable in some areas...and like previously mentioned, he has broken a few returns for TD's....it is going to be a huge game and the Vikes have shown they want to get Percy the ball....

and about the defense....just play your best matchups, period. sometimes you have to play some of your guys against your def, thats just how it goes...

Harvin for sure. OAK has trouble moving the ball and I doubt Fargas gets much. Harving should get a lot of looks in a close game.

Edit: Oh yeah ARI D for sure. CAR is awful.

help?

Thanks for helping me ;-D

I agree, I had thought about picking up Fargas this week to fill bye's but I simply cannot trust ANYTHING coming out of Oakland and decided to pass. If it were me I would go with Harvin, especially with your league rules.

As for D, you could argue a case for both. Denver has been unreal and has been shutting people down, though it's a tough matchup. Arizona has a great matchup but hasn't shut down people like Denver. I think I would lean towards Arizona just because they aren't going to face the weapons Denver is and has more upside.
