We start 2 QBs and 2 RBS in our league, My QBs and RBS:
QBS: Schaub, Farve, Hill RBS: Forte, Rice, LJ, M. Bush
I have the 2nd WW pick this week. My guess is, the number 1 guy will pick a QB since he has no back-up. WHo should I pick? I need back-up RBS but both my staers have had their bye weeks and is one of them gets hurt, I'm kinda toast anyway. My thinking is, grab a QB since both my QBs still have their bye weeks to come, and if a RB gats hurt, trade a QB for a RB. Put it this way, a team is playing Sanchez as a starting QB, so they are scarce.
My order proirty would be:
Smith Campbell Charles (only because I think he would be the main guy now with LJ in trouble) Green (although I could see picking Green over Charles.
Thanks for the help and leave a link
12 Team League. We start 2 QBs and get .5 PPR, otherwise standard scoring QBs: Stafford, Fitzpatrick, Collins RBs: Charles, Mendenhall, Best, Starks, Carter, Karim WRs: D. Jackson, Marshall, S. Smith, Green, TE: Hernandez, Cook
I know the troubles of 2 QB leagues, Im playing in one with 10 teams and Hasselbeck being out for those 3 weeks made my life hell trying to find something off the waivers. That being said, youre weak at RB behind those first two. I'd go for Charles first. I'd place a waiver for smith still (dropping Hill), but I'd make it the second priority.
Even with your 2QB league, I'd go with Charles/Greene 1st (giving Charles the slight edge only b/c he will be the starter). After that, I'd drop Hill for Smith for sure...Smith will tbe the guy the rest of the year and he seems to like Davis, so he can be a serviceable QB2
This is a tough one...but personally....I'd go with smith. Just cuz he finally looked awesome...and u have shaun hill...u need him. Then i'd try to scoop charles on the wrap around. This IS a 2 QB league...which makes QB's outrageously valuable. Scoop Smith first...u have to secure that.
I would grab Charles first. After their bye, he won't be around, guaranteed. He's going to be a starting RB which is extremely scarce this time of the year.
You have to pick up Charles. If not him, I would probably pick up Greene. No available QB on the WW at this point in the season will be a sure thing on a weekly basis, should probably just sign whoever is available the week you actually need them.
Even with the value of a QB in a 2 QB league, I agree that Charles is your pickup priority. I don't think you're strong enough at RB to let him get away, even if the Chiefs o-line is horrible. He's going to get 20 touches, and that's too much to ignore.
