Week 8 Help! WHIR!

Postby footballprincess85 » Wed Oct 28, 2009 6:31 pm

Hi there,
Some situations for week 8, as always, I WHIR.

Garrard or Favre? Garrard has a weak Tennessee D, but Favre is playing to stick it to the Packers.

Reggie Bush or Felix Jones. We get return yards. My other RB is AD.

Tony Gonzalez against the saints or Vernon Davis coming off a monster week against the Colts?

Thanks in Advance, leave a link!

garrard does probably have a good day, but i agree with the previous poster, you can't sit favre against the pack.

i think you start bush over felix. the cowboys backfield is totally out of whack right now and i wouldn't trust jones with choice still possibly in the picture.

and this last one is a really tough call. normally, i would say you never sit tony, but vernon was ridiculous last week. granted that was against houston. indy won't be nearly as easy. i'd say in a tight one, i'd start gonzalez because you drafted him to start every week and that game should be a shootout. though you can't go wrong with starting vernon. if you have the opportunity, you could start vernon at flex.

lil' help

I'd take Favre much for the reasons other people have cited.
Bush over Jones, this is pretty much consensus.
Davis over Gonzalez because Smith will look to him in the end zone after the huge day he had last week (don't remind me, my opponent started him, and I lost because of it). Even if he doesn't have a great day, he should be a TD vulture.
