Carson Palmer for Tony Gonzalez. Deal or no deal? WHIR

So I am another pathetic Cooley owner. . I have been offered Tony Gonzalez for Carson Palmer. Relevant info is listed below:

I Have
D. Brees, C. Palmer
(No TE)

They Have
Cutler, Favre
T. Gonzalez, V. Davis.

As you can see, I'm giving up a (great) 2nd string qb but getting a much needed TE. Should I make the trade and pick up the best QB on the waiver (Garrard or A. Smith)?

I think the way Palmer is playing you are giving up way too much for a TE.

I would look for something else in return, ir just go to the WW.

Fred Davis looked pretty good filling in for Cooley.

I think I would look to the WW for a pick up. See who is available and if nothing else pick up Davis.

No way Gonzalez is worth Carson Palmer. Doesn't matter whether you need Palmer or not. Don't give him away for a TE.

I agree with everyone else. No way you give up Palmer for a TE. Don't panic. Go with the WW or at least make it a 2 for 1 and get more for Palmer.
