Is Forte worth trading for?

Postby tobias2 » Thu Oct 29, 2009 7:57 am

Someone in my league just put Forte on the block. He said he has an offer but wants to see if anyone else is interested. Based on my lineup, is he worth trading for? I'm 5-2 and feel pretty good at RB. DO I even need him? If so what can I package for him? Maybe RIcky?

12-team, non-PPR.

Me:
QB--Palmer, Garrard
RB--CJohnson, SJax, Mendenhall, Ricky
WR--VJax, Boldin, Burelson, Roy
TE--Winslow, Heap
D-Eagles

Him:
QB--Ryan
RB--Forte, Portis, Bradshaw, Ward, Parker, Bush
WR--White, Hoosh, Knox
TE--Olsen
D-Skins

I would offer him Ricky straight-up for Forte. As it gets colder in Chicago, that offense will lean more on Forte.

I agree. I wouldn't reach too much for Forte, but he will be used more as the season goes on. I have him on my team and have been trying to weather the storm in hopes he'll get better as the year goes.

Would offering Mendenhall be offering too much?
