Lost Cooley - offered Mike Wallace and Tony Gonzalez for Steve Smith (NY). Would you take it? The rest of my lineup is.. Q - Romo, Flacco R - MJD, Rice, Parker, Maroney W - Jennings, Megatron, Manningham, Burleson, Smith T - Cooley (have a waiver claim in for Olsen) My WRs have been underachieving, lately. So, worried about losing Smith... Also offered Vernon Davis/Wallace for Smith. Which actually might be more appealing...

i think its a good trade for you. getting a great TE and you are deep enougg at WR to give up smith and stil be fine. do it.

Which trade is better? Vernon Davis or Tony Gonzalez?

I'd do it either way. Gonzalez is more established, whereas Vernon Davis came outta no where this year, although he does seem to be the go to receiver for the Niners...

agreed that they're both good deals. they're starting to cover smith more now smith obviously loved throwing to davis last week, so he's their #1 receiver, but who knows if smith can keep it up. gonzo definitely the safer option

I'd do this trade, but if you can get Olsen, I'd stand pat. Olsen will be serviceable and you don't have to give up in the real Steve Smith
