Bad Receivers..which one to drop...WHIR!!

Postby bjmacdow » Thu Oct 29, 2009 9:38 am

I need a bye week Tight End and have selected Mercedes Lewis. Its a 12 team league and I have Santana Moss, Braylon Edwards, or Terrell Owens that I will drop to pick him up. Out of those three WRs, which one should I drop??

PS: It is crazy to think of dropping T.O. for Mercedes Lewis; but it might make sense this year? Thanks and WHIR!!

I would drop TO out of those three. I have the "pleasure" of living in western NY and being stuck watching Bills games every weekend and they are just one of the worst offenses I have seen in a long long time. Even when TO has had opportunities he has drop many passes. I know that it is crazy to drop him for Lewis, but I don't think it is a big lose for you.

I'd definitely drop T.O. Braylon will have a chance to get things going again once Cotchery and Brad Smith return for the Jets and will take some of the focus off of him in the Jets offense. If the Redskins can solve some of their offensive problems, then Moss could start to get going again. I just don't see the Bills offense, now that they're starting to win some games, getting T.O. involved much more than he already is.

I would drop TO also. You can't lose Braylon since he has a real chance of turning around in NY and Moss is always good for a random 150yd game. TO is showing his age and is on a horrible offense.
