T.O. avail, worth pick up? WHIR

Postby Coz1 » Fri Oct 30, 2009 9:09 am

Terrell Owens is avail on the waiver wire, is he worth a roster spot?

My receivers are AJ, Moss and DeSean Jackson, but I can put TO on the bench, AJ has a bye in a few weeks and Moss's is this week.

Is he worth the pickup?

An injured Donald Brown. I would like to get another RB, but there isn't anyone avail. Laurence Maroney is out there, but they have a cluttered backfield. Darrenn McFadden is avail as well.

This is a PPR league as well.

I'd rather stash McFadden on the bench. T.O. hasn't shown anything this year, and McFadden may prove helpful come playoff time.

Maroney isn't really in that crowded of a backfield. Sure there is Kevin Faulk still around, and BenJarvis Green-Ellis, but Maroney is getting the touches now with Fred Taylor and Sammy Morris out. Maroney is good for another week or two yet, and I'd pick him up over T.O. You don't really need any WR help with Moss, AJ and Jackson...

How many WR do you start? If it's only 2 then I would probably drop Brown for Maroney.

T.O. has not produced all year and is not worth a spot on your bench. Your receiving corps is strong. Follow close on the Maroney situation to see if Morris will be back after the bye. If not Maroney would be a good pick up.

I start 2 WR, 2 RB and 1 WR/RB flex.

Maroney would be a better pickup than McFadden?
