Just made roster invincible, now I need starters...WHIR!

Postby MemphisTigerFan10 » Fri Oct 30, 2009 12:48 pm

Ok so I just made that trade to get Steven Jackson and Vincent Jackson. This is probably the last of many trades Ive done so far this season and I think I am FINALLY satisfied. Now because of my plethora of talent, Im gonna need yalls help with who to start. Right now here are my starters (the bold means I am sure about those, red are my question marks):

Cutler (or Schaub?)
Peterson (always)
Slaton (great matchup)

S. Jackson (or R. Brown?)
Mike Sims-W (or Marshall?)

V. Jackson (Wayne is injured right??)
Gates (always)
Cardinals (nice matchup)
Longwell (always)

So here are my question marks:

1) QB's
I have Schaub and Cutler. I have played Schaub every week so far this season and he has done wonders. I am kind of worried about the injury to AJ and the weather in Buffalo. Cutler is playing the Browns so he looks to have a much better matchup. My question though is is Schaub a player like Peterson where you just play him no matter the matchup? Who would you start here??

2) RB's
As you can see, I am VERY deep at both RB and WR. This week I am definitely starting Peterson. That leaves a RB2 and RB/WR spot available for my other three RBs. Right now I have Slaton as my RB2 because of his great matchup against the HORRENDOUS Bills run defense. My RB/WR is Steven Jackson. This is where I am confused. Jackson hasnt scored a TD all season but has put up the yards. I think he is bound to get in the end zone this week so thats why I am starting him. Ronnie Brown scored 20 points against the Jets in their last game and that was when they had Jenkins. So...do I run with Jackson or Brown as my third RB??

3) My other depth is at WR. Right now I have 4 of the top 15 WRs and another thats in the top 25. I have Reggie Wayne on the bench this week because I am worried about his injury. If you have heard that he is playing and feel that I should play him PLEASE let me know because I will. I have Vincent Jackson and Mike Sims-W as my two starters. I am not even thinking about starting Housh this week. They only reason I have him is in case of a week with extra byes. Other than that, hes not going to see my starting lineup. That leaves me down to Marshall on the bench. So my question is...Do I start Marshall over Sims-W even though the Jags are playing the Titans and Sims-W had 21 points against them last time??

Thanks so much for the help! You guys have really helped me out this season! Leave a link to yours and I will help you out too!
