Smith NYG or Jennings?

I keep going back and forth on these guys.

Smith plays the Eagles - and we saw just how bad Eli can be when he's being blitzed. That's exactly what Philly will be doing all day, but that will mean Smith will be in single-coverage a bunch. However, Eli isn't utilizing him like he was earlier in the year. Also, the Eagles have only had one WR get 75+ yds receiving, and that was Colston in week 2.

Jennings plays the Vikings - but he's obviously had the worse fantasy season. Although the Vikings have a good pass rush, there is no Winfield, and in their earlier meeting Rodgers threw for almost 400 Yds and he's also without Finley this week. I see a lot of passing here, but I'm scared not too much will be to Jennings.

I think Smith might be the safe pick here - something like 70 yds receiving - but Jennings has the possibility of going off for a lot more and a score or two.

Here is the rest of my starting lineup:

QB Romo
RB MJD
RB Slaton
RB/WR Barber
WR DJax
WR Jennings or Smith
TE Celek
K Akers
Def Philly

I say go with Smith. Vikes DST is strong and Jennings has done nothing this year.

The Packers are PLENTY motivated and they are in a must-win divisional game situation, their pride is at stake now too, and while Jennings got locked-down in Minnesota on the carpet, I think that he will have a MUCH better game this sunday where it will take ALL the king's horses and ALL the king's men to beat Minnesota, and he should be a big part of a Packers victory. As for SSmith, he got off to a fast start, but manningham and Nicks are getting more involved in the passing game (even if Hixon isn't) and I believe that the G-Men will get back to their roots on the road and RUN RUN RUN the ball in Philly, that's their best chance of winning that divisional game.

My gut just tells me that Jennings gets back on track in Gren Bay's biggest game of the season, so I would start him for the reasons mentioned above ;-D

I don't have the details in front of me, but I read Jennings is getting plenty of looks, including some deep balls, each game. The odds say that he won't be missing those balls for much longer. Now's a good a week as any. Go with Jennings.

Jennings is due for a breakout game, but his success depends on the Packers O-line fending off the pass rush as he is a deep threat. In the first game, Rodgers was sacked 8 times. As for S. Smith, he's been one of the best wrs in ff for the first half of the season, and although I think Giants are going to get back to their power running style of football in B. Jacobs, I see that opening the game up for Eli to hook up with his recieving core for some big plays, as I think Philly is the most overrated team in football, including their defense. So I'd go with S. Smith ;-D

I'd like to think that the Vikes pass rush will be somewhat mitigated by the game being played on grass rather than fieldturf. Also, the crowd will be quiet when Rodgers is taking snaps.

That said, as a Giants fan, I'd be worried about starting Smith... on the road... against a blitzing Philly D. Weather's getting colder; that means Eli's skill level goes down.
