I bet when you were drafting your fantasy team, you never imagined yourself having to debate whether or not you should bench Smith or Jennings for some clown named Austin Collie, hey? Funny game this is...
That being said, I think you have to play Jennings and Smith. To me, Jennings is the easiest choice of the three. He's an enormously talented receiver who plays in a pass-heavy offense that has been RACKING up yards the past three games (vs Minn, Det, and Cle). I'm a firm supporter of the GB offense this week and have stated in other posts that I believe Rodgers will have another huge day against the banged up Minn pass defense, and you just have to think that Jennings is FINALLY going to be a big part of the success.
The tougher decision comes between Collie and Smith. At times, Collie has been a strong play this year. But as a previous poster made a good point of saying, his production is very volatile. He also doesn't have the talent of Smith or Jennings, but he does have the best QB in football throwing him the ball, but I still dont think that warrants giving him a start over Smith. As for SS, I honestly don't have much to back up my choice of picking him for the start. His production has declined each week this year, he has a god awful quarterback, and I"m sure he's gonna get blanketed with coverage all night. But he's STEVE SMITH, former fantasy god. His track record alone speaks for itself, and you know he's gonna have one HUGE game this year. I rarely say or do this (and it pisses me off when other people give this as their reasoning), but this is a gut feeling I have - I really think SS will have a big week, despite all the things going against him. Take that for what it's worth - if you end up starting him and he disappoints, you can send me an angry message and I will gracefully apologize!
