I think your choice basicaly comes down to B. Marshall or Sims-Walker because Colston and V JAX are must starts.
I have to start 3 rec's in a standard non ppr league.
my choices:
Nicks @ Philly -Great upside here, but doesn't compare to the other WR's mentioned here besides S. Rice. Although if Manningham sits out or is limited, Nicks would benefit a great deal.
S. Rice @ G Bay - No. Maybe he will score but he doesn't compare to anyone here except Nicks. Bernard Berrian and P. Harvin will cut into his catches this game.
Colston vs Falcons - He is a must start, he plays in the highest scoring offense in the league.
V Jax vs oakland- He is a must start, he is a monster and he is playing the Raiders. The only thing to SLIGHTLY worry about is that the Chargers will throw only 1 TD and then run the ball the rest of the game scoring lots of running TD's. But still, you can't sit that man.
Sims-Walker @ Titans - Titans are last in pass defense and walker is a beast. Tenn is winless, they are coming off the bye week, they have been throughly embarrassed as a team and an organization, they have had two weeks to prepare for this game, the job security of the head coach is at stake and Fisher knows it, this is a divisional game and as such, sometimes you just throw everything out the window because divisional games are notorious for bein unpredictable and close because of how well the teams know each other and because of the rivalry. P. 456 SEE - Chargers vs Oakland in week 1. I am not suggesting he won't have a big game, but I do think it is extremely possible Tenn comes out and finally wins a game and I am not someone who trusts in D. Garrard.
B. Marshall @ Baltimore - Balt has a banged up secondary and they def can be passes on but man, I just hate starting players that play against the Ravens. Marshall has been hot recently but he also only had 3 games this season with over 10 fantasy points. I know Orton is playing really well, but honestly, I just don't 100% trust the guy, he has to prove it to me for more than 7 weeks.
Honestly, this is an extremely tough decision. I think it is possible that the Tenn game gets out of hand and Jac puts up serious points but I also think it is just as possible that Tenn will win a close one or even a blowout. See Jac vs Cardinals a few weeks ago. 34 - 20 - Jaguars.
The Balt game will not be a blowout and will be a defensive based, close game that could go either way, assuming the Broncos are definitely for real. 23 - 20 Broncos.
Even with all that, I would still go with Marshall. They are coming off a bye week, they know they are playing a good Ravens D, and you know they have been practicing some special plays for B. Marshall. Since you have to win, I would go with the WR who has proven to me he is a bigtime player the longest. Sims-Walker has only done it a few games even though he is really good, id go with Marshall.
Best of Luck,
E
