My team after acquiring Rice...

Postby RedDevils36 » Sat Oct 31, 2009 9:20 am

I had to give up Gates and Grant to get Rice, but I also got Olsen. How do I look now? I'd like to off Schaub or Brady to get an upgrade at WR. Who would be valuable enough to lose Schaub or Brady? Which to send off? Thanks for help, WHIR.

QB: Brady, Schaub
WR: Marshall, Bowe, Moore, Crabtree, Floyd
RB: Rice, Sjax, Charles
TE: Olsen
K: Kaeding

RB-Charles, SJax, Gore, Green-Ellis, Hillis
WR-Wallace, Jones (ATL), Harvin, Wayne, Cobb
TE-F. Davis

I really like this team, though disagree with your desire to upgrade at WR. Atleast for the two QB's, having one QB is a risky move, and keep Brady if you do want to trade one. I feel like besides your WR's which is decent, everything is alright with this line up, Good Defenses under the bears and the eagles (Play the bears this week) the kicker is solid and your RB's are pretty quality. No need for change in my opinion, it'd put a risk on a team that could end the season with a good record.

I agree with you that you need some help in WR. Don't even think about trading Brady.IMO
I would keep an eye out for the waiver wire. Making trades isnt always the best way to go. I have found that I usually regret most trades because you have to sacrifice a player of an equal or greater value. Where as when picking sleeepers out of the pool I drop who I want. :-)
Look out for guys like Miles Austin, Collie, Bernard Barrian, and Tedd Gin JR.
Just an idea.
