Schaub/Burleson for Favre/Ch. Johnson? WHIR!

I've been offered Chris Johnson and Favre for Schaub and Burleson. I've been looking for more consistency at RB, but not sure this is it. CJ has such potential, but the Titans are a mess right now. I have Romo as my second QB, so I could play match ups the rest of the year with Favre/Romo and be starting CJ and Gore at RB. What do you think? Roster below.

I think you can get a more consistent RB than CJ for Schaub. I would not do this trade and use Schaub to target an owner of Turner, Rice, or similar.

Yeah, I tried to get Rice already, they declined.

I agree- I just ran the stats on CJ today- you take away that monster game- in my league 54 pts, and he has 39 pts in his other 6 games- a 6.5 avg! Not even startable and he would be considered a monster bust if not for that 54 pt game. I just traded for Schaub- their schedule down the stretch is cake.

I would say you have to accept this. Romo and Farve are a good combo for match up play and CJ's playoff schedule is pretty good and they continue to give the ball to him.

Schaub so far is a top 5 qb and surprisingly burleson is about top 10. You can do a lot better the cj24 for them. I would shop around and see what other people will offer. Good luck and thanks for the help with mine.

RB's on really bad teams are never good because they end up being down by so many points they have to throw the ball. I agree with above posters try and see if you can get a Benson, Slaton etc.

Well I think Fisher will go back to pounding the rock. But it does sting that Lendale is hurt or not his old self. I think Ringer needs to get a chance to play some.

I think with VY in the game they will become their run-first offense. I think CJ4 is a good trade option while his value sucks.

That's a really tough call, but I think you can get someone better than CJ4 for Shaub at this point. Try to work some angles with other owners and if it don't work out, then consider the deal because you will still have two pretty good QBs in Romo and Favre.
