AJ for Garcon, Portis and T Gonzalez? WHIR

Postby benb18a » Sun Nov 01, 2009 10:24 pm

What can I counter this guy, to help my team? Should I eliminate Gonzo, since he basically = Celek, and add in my Orton and his Ryan? This is a standard, no ppr scoring redraft league. My team is likely to be 4-4 after this week, depending on what happens tomorrow night.

My roster:

Orton, Cassel
K Smith, P Thomas, Lynch, F Jackson, M Bush
AJ, Moss, S Rice, L Evans
Celek

His:

Ryan, Hasselbeck
MJD, Addai, Portis, Bradshaw, Betts
Wayne, Burleson, Ward, Garcon, Caldwell
Gonzalez, Shiancoe

Thanks to eagles21 for the awesome sig :)

He's gonna be 6-2, I doubt I can pry his top 3 stud from him. I was thinking more along the lines of upgrading at WR, since K Smith, Thomas and Lynch at RB is good enough for now.

How much more can you upgrade at WR since you have AJ and Moss, assuming those players are Andre Johnson and Randy Moss. A better plan would be to upgrade at QB.

Wouldn't do it as written. I don't see much coming out of Garcon or Portis, and as you mentioned, Gonzo and Celek are a wash. Giving up Andre for that is not a good plan. I would only maybe do it to pry away Matty Ice, because, you know, you're starting Kyle Orton :(.
