All Spencer Havner all the time

This is meant to be a slightly ironic post, but Havner does have 3 TDs in his last two games. With Owen Daniels and Chris Cooley going down longterm in the last two weeks, people in very deep leagues (I'm talking 20 teams or thereabouts) may want to give this guy a look short term over such players as Tony Scheffler, Brandon Pettigrew, Bo Scaife etc. Please don't take this thread as an early sleeper/breakout alert as I acknowledge you would have to be very desperate to consider Havner, BUT...

The main reason I call this to attention is that he is currently not in the Yahoo player database. Perhaps this will change at some point during this week?

Whatever happened to JerMichael Finley??? He was going to be the next big thing but hasn't done much this year.

Regarding Finley, i believe he got hurt right as he seemed to be building some momentum and i think he's still, hurt, right?

Yes Finley got hurt during the Cleveland game on his only catch. It was a knee sprain and as far as I know he has not practiced since and is pretty questionable for this week. Lee seems to have been forgotten about so Havner may be worth a look for the next gmae or two depending on Finley's progress. He doesn't get a ton of looks in the field but he seems to be a major red zone target for Rodgers so he could be worth a spot start this weekend if you are hurting at the Te position and there is little on the wire.

If he isn't I would be surprised to see him last out the waiver periods this week with cooley and daniels down. He is definitely the guy I would rather have long term between the two of them but would be surprised to see him still around to grab up easily. Havner plays in the much better offense but I read today Finley is only probably going to miss one more week so he is definitely an emergency stop gap only.

Spencer Havner is actually listed as a linebacker in Yahoo's available free agency database. He could be an interesting option in IDP leagues.
