Make a Trade for Good QB?

Postby scimitar » Mon Nov 02, 2009 7:45 pm

Hey, everyone! I've lurked here for awhile but I have some questions about my team and was wondering if anyone could help me out?

Basically, I have a lot of talent and depth at WR, and a manageable/good RB situation. Unfortunately, I'm pretty weak at quarterback, and I've lost three close games because of it. What would other fantasy owners suggest for this situation?

Here's my team (league is PPR with no keepers):

Starting

QB Jay Cutler, David Garrard
RB Marion Barber, Ronnie Brown
Flex RB/WR Randy Moss
WR Reggie Wayne, DeSean Jackson, Marques Colston
TE Dustin Keller
D/ST Saints

Bench

QB Jason Campbell, Josh Freeman
RB Mendenhall, Julius Jones, Shonn Greene
WR Burleson, Sims-Walker, Miles Austin

I've been offered a trade from one guy - he wants R. Brown in exchange for Flacco (QB TDs are worth more than normal in the league I'm in, so they're about equal in points this year so far).

I'm not sure about that trade, and I'm not even sure what I should do with my team, if anything. What would you all recommend? A big thanks to all that respond!

I think your team looks unreal. If I were you I would give up a top WR and QB for a Top QB. Its and offer they cant refuse and I think it would help out both teams. Try and hold on to cutler and see what you can get for a Top WR and one of your other QB's

NO NO NO

Your RBs are not all that great, your TE is bad, but your WRs are awesome. Trade from your depth, don't touch your RBs for a QB unless you know you can get a RB for a WR(s)
