Evaluate Trade Moreno/Witten for Sidney Rice WHIR!

Postby TheHammer24 » Mon Nov 02, 2009 10:51 pm

I get Rice:

QB, RBx2, WRx3, Flex, TE, K, Def

Roethlisberger,
Holmes, Colston, Cotchery, Maclin, Berrian
Benson, D. Williams, SJax, Moreno, McCoy, Moats
Davis, Witten
Rackers
Miami

The guy I am trading with has Calvin Johson, Rice, Hester and Rodney White - At RB has Beanie Wells and Mike Bell Starting

Also, can I drop Berrian? He seems rather useless at this point

No chance I am trading these two players for Rice. I know that you may need some help at wr, but to me you are just giving up too much here. The only way I'm doing this is if it one for one and not both players for Rice.

Thanks for the advice ;-D

What would you recommend would be an adequate return for those two? What should I be willing give up to get a solid WR? I like having my three stud WRs start every week so I am looking to combo, Moreno with Witten or Cotchery/Holmes to upgrade WR.

He gets much better value. Moreno/Rice are about equal in production.

I'd want a slightly better (or more proven WR) for two of those players. You have the depth to make that sacrifice to upgrade your wrs, I just think you can do a little bi tbetter.

i agree you are giving up too much, rice is not consistent enough i'd try to target boldin or maybe jennings 2 guys who are slightly underperforming but will likely bounce back, moreno is a hugh upside back and witten is stud te even if he hasnt lived up to expectations
