So I have both A.Gates and V.Davis at TE, and thats somewhat useless...considering they are both good trade bait...
but I am still trying to figure out who to keep...will Davis keep rolling with Alex Smith? Gates is consistent, but SD has a lot of receivers...
I am trying to get a good RB and WR combo back...I want to send a TE/Mcgahee/Ginn or WIliams away for a good RB/WR combo
advice?

TE: A. Gates, V.Davis
PK: Prater
Def: NE, SD

I would keep Gates because I would rather have a sure 8-10 points, then a feast or famine you would get with with Davis. When he goes cold he will stay cold. Plus I would rather have Rivers throwing thje ball then Smith. Plus it makes it look like a better trade. I imagine that your planning on trading with a newb (why else would anyone take Magahee now that he is no longer scoring TD or Ginn who can only score on special teams.) Get what ever you can for those guys and be glad you got them off your squad.

I agree that you should trade Davis. He seems like the favored target for Alex Smith and teams are going to recognize that. I wouldn't be surprised if defenses make Alex Smith beat them with Crabtree or their other WR.
