ok i have what i consider a pretty good team (in a 12 team league.. ill give the stats for the league at the end of this post).. my problem is, both my TE and my back-up TE are hurt... who should i get?? first ill show my roster (then ill show the top 5 FA TE, and then ill explain my point system)

QB - Kurt Warner
WR - Anquan Boldin
WR - Wes Welker
RB - Maurice Jones Drew
TE - (now empty) i had Owen Dainiels and Chris Cooley
RB/WR (flex) - Josh Criibs (or Johnny Knox)

K - Tynes

Def - Pittsburgh

(some subs i have, Marshawn Lynch, Anthony Gonzalez, San Diego Def, Robbie Gould (just picked up, bye week next week for Tynes)

Top 5 FA TE (ranked by total pts so far)
Zach Miller
Dustin Keller
Cisanthe Shianco
Kevin Boss
Jermichael Finley

now as far as my scoring system goes (me and a buddy came up with this scoring system, so it is pretty unique, and has some flaws still)

Pass Yrds (5 yrds per pt), Pass TD (10), Rush Yrds (2 yrds per pt), Rush TD (10), Rec Yds (2 yrds per pt), Rec TD (10)
Returns- KR/PR yrds (5 yrds per pt), KR/PR TD (10)
Kickers- FG 0-19 (5) 20-29 (10) (+5 each 10 yrds, max 50+ yrds)
Def - Sack (8) INT (15), Fum Rec (15), Def TD (20), Pts Allowed 0 (60) 1-6 (50) 7-13 (40) 14-20 (30) 21-27 (20) 28-34 (10) and 35+ (0)

so as i said, is there a TE "sleeper" out there, to actually score some points in my league??

I'd grab Visanthe Shiancoe off that list, no question in my mind.
Standard scoring.
QB: Aaron Rodgers / Vince Young
RB: Maurice Jones-Drew / Ray Rice / Jamaal Charles / Beanie Wells
WR: Randy Moss / Andre Johnson / Robert Meachem / Kenny Britt
TE: Heath Miller / Jermichael Finley
K: Ryan Longwell
DEF: CIN / SEA

I agree with the last post Shiancoe is by far the best option off the wire.

That is an interesting scoring system. Makes for some very high scoring games.

Thanks for the help with mine and good luck

Hey thanks for your help!

I also am more confident in Fantasy baseball.. But here is my help to you!

Take either Visanthe or Jermichael. The only problem is Jermichael is probably not going to start this week against TB which is too bad. Rodgers really relies on him since he doesnt have much time to throw the ball... the Tight Ends are his best friends and Jermichael has some good size! However, Visanthe has really become one of Farve's favorite targets however, Id like Jermichael over him personally. The problem is both these guys arent playing this week! (if Jermichael is still healing up).... Visanthe has a bye... so... my next sleeper would be Keller, who also has a bye this week... Last guy... Zach Miller is your guy for this week I guess... but look for Jermichael in the next week!

Hope this helps!

Well, for this week, it appears that really your only choice out of the players you listed would be Boss since everyone else is on a bye or injured (Finley). After that, I would definitely grab Shiancoe. Another option would be to see if Fred Davis the backup TE in Washington who will be filling in for Cooley. If he is, maybe grab him this week. He's actually projected to do better than Boss. Campbell will be looking to dump it off to Davis and I think I read somewhere that Atlanta gives up a lot of FF points to TE's.

Thanks for the help with mine. Hope this helps you.
