His Portis for My Lynch and V Davis

Here is my roster in our 10 team league

QB: Peyton Manning
WR: Fitzgerald, Ochocinco, Steve Smith (Car), Santonio Holmes, Crabtree
RB: Adrian Peterson, Slaton, Marshawn Lynch, Jamaal Charles, Chester Taylor, Moats
TE: Vernon Davis, Jason Witten

We play 1 QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, and a Flex (RB/WR)

I have bye issues this week with AP and Lynch sitting. My trading partner needs a TE since he had Owen Daniels... He has offered me Portis for Lynch and Vernon Davis - thoughts?

As crazy as it sounds, I would rather have VD in 09 than Witten - VD is leading the league in TD's, and Witten has been a major dissapointment, as a Daniels owner, I'm a bit paniced at may TE prospects.

I think you sell Witten & Lynch for Portis

Thanks for the help on mine. Does he have any other RBs? I think Portis is not much better than Lynch. If you have to do it for bye week purposes, then I would pull the trigger. I also like Davis over Witten this year.

Like the 2 posters above me, I like Davis better than WItten this year too. See if you can get him to give you POrtis for Lynch & Witten. That wouldn't hurt you at TE at all and it'd be a slight improvement at RB.
