I would start Mendenhall as well. I think Washington will be playing from behind all day and are going to rely on the pass more than the run.

Portis is a talented RB, but a very frustrating player. I just am thinking PItt will get more GL chances.

I like Mendenhall better than Portis here, yet still I'm not starting him for Grant this week in my 10x10 leauge. So I guess I'm saying Mendenhall !!!! with such conviction mainly because I'm not sure it's the right play myself.

I bet 5 dollars of pride to anyone, that with my luck in not picking, Portis here he is going to have a 400yrd day with 17tD's ......... and the light of God himself shinning out his ear!!!


In conclusion, I'm torn on this one but I'm personally Benching Mendanhall with my match-up. Portis Is very capable option though facing the "Birds-of-the-Dirty-South" Defense.

I owned Portis last year and u never know what your going to get if he plays at all.. Go with Mendenhall.
