Good problem to have at WR - WHIR

Postby BearsFan65 » Wed Nov 04, 2009 2:02 pm

Made a trade this week and acquired Vincent Jackson (gave up Grant and Nicks) as an insurance policy on Megatron's health. Sure enough, last look says that Calvin is running with the first team in practice and moving well. So my choices for this week are:

AJ @ IND - matchup proof imo
Megatron @ SEA - hasn't played in almost a month, also matchup proof
VJax @ NYG - as hot as any WR and SD will throw a bunch
Sims-Walker v KC - tastiest matchup of the lot

PPR league, so other than last week's horrible showing, S-W has been money. We start 3 WR's - which one of these do you sit assuming all are healthy? I lean toward sitting Calvin just because he and Stafford will need some time to get their timing back, but I'm not anywhere near sure.

WHIR, thanks!

Thanks for the help with mine

I would honestly just stick with AJ, Megatron, and VJax AJ and Megatron IMO are must starts every week as long as they are playing and AJax has been an absolute stud so I would say definitely stick with him he gets the ball on deep plays and in the red zone.

I'd sit Sims Walker too. I think Garrards struggling right now and it will be a big day for Jones-Drew.

Chiefs pass defense is at the bottom of the barrel so Sims-Walker is a good play. I would keep an eye on C. Johnson (a.k.a. Megatron) and make sure he’s 100%. Seattle’s pass defense isn’t all that bad ranked 15th. Jackson would be tough to sit right now no matter who the Chargers are playing. A. Johnson looks to bounce back after a mediocre week 8 outing and I suspect that Houston will be playing from behind plus they just lost Daniels for the season, one less target for Schaub. So as crazy as it sounds I would sit C. Johnson especially if he’s not 100%.

Thanks for the help with mine.

I'd sit Sims-Walker. Definitely can't sit AJ or Jackson and Johnson is about all they have to throw to in Detroit.

I would sit Megatron simply because all are good to great options with their match-ups but not sure if Calvin is going to be at 100%. :-o

Any thoughts on mine? thanks
