Trade Forte & T. Gonzalez for Maroney & Bowe? WHIR!

Postby ferndogg03 » Wed Nov 04, 2009 2:40 pm

i want to trade someone in my leauge Forte and Tony Gonzalez for Maroney and Bowe (or DeSean). Basically i wanna trade these big names for people that could help my team. I dont think Forte's gonna be so consistent so im willing to trade him for another rb. This guy i wanna trade needs a tight end cuz owen daniels just got injured, so i wanna trade Gonzalez for either DeSean or Bowe. I need help deciding if this is a good trade and im also not sure who to offer for Bowe or DeSean. Thanks WHIR!

If you trade Forte, who will be your #2? Maroney is about on par with Justin Fargas. Sammy Morris will be back sooner or later, and it's only a matter of time before Benjarvis Green-Ellis gets worked in methinks. I never trust any Patriot RB, because you can never predict what Bellichek has in store in any given week.

If you're looking to ditch Forte, I'd go after a better replacement option. I don't think Forte is as bad as he's being made out to be. At least he has had 2 great games, the other times he's still putting up useful #2 numbers. That kind of production shouldn't be undervalued. Your WRs could use some improvement and I'd go after DeSean Jackson before Bowe.

thanks for the help with mine.

Gonzo for DeSean is your better option. As a Forte owner myself I'm hoping for a few more "Good" games. Not ready to give up hope just yet.

Gonzo has been putting up some decent numbers, but Desean right now is tearing it up. The guy is hitting a touchdown a week going for 50+. I feel Bowe is going to have some good upside with weaker pass defenses coming up on their schedule. GL!
