yeah you'd think that but I was extremly week a TE and wanted stability and Tony got me 14 and Andre got me 17, so far it seems like a good trade. ;-D

My team wasn't great, looked pretty solid to me though considering it was a 12 team league with no scrub coaches. Willie Green really hurt me at RB (and is now gone), as did Pennington going down (made me trade Hearst for a qb that I ended up dropping anyhow, and killed any chance Conway had of having a good year)

QB: Bulger*, Pennington
RB: Deuce*, Hambrick*, Bennett, Duckett, S. Morris
WR: Harrison*, Burress*, Booker*, Shaw, T. Walters
TE: Graham*, Franks
K: Carney
D: Denver

Unreal. Ahman + Santana + DDavis and 2-7-1? Plus, you have a good TE and good Defense. My head is spinning.

Well, santana and DD didn't turn it on until recently, so for the first 6 weeks or so it was basically just ahman.

I made some deals and have now turned it around a bit but I was 1-5 with this drafted roster in a 12-team league
QB- Collins,Maddox, Bulger
RB- Ricky, Tiki, C-Martin, Betts
WR- Ward, K-Rob, Bruce,Streets
TE- Heap, Graham
D- Panthers
It was ugly and I couldn't catch a break so I blew it up and it now looks like this:
QB- Bulger,Collins,Holcomb
RB- Ricky,S-Davis,D.Davis, Betts
WR-Randy, Ward, Morton, Bradford
TE-Heap
D-Panthers
Makin a run but may still fall short...oh well, them's the breaks I guess

So far the "winner" here is FF Newbie, followed by TFM's bad luck. My 4-7 team below won't make the playoffs that lets 8 of 12 teams in unless I win the next two games. The sad thing is that I'm 4th in the league in points.

QB: Bulger
RB: Faulk, Barber
WR: Coles, Ward
TE: Mili
WR/TE: Moulds
WR/RB: Wheatley
K: Akers
Def: Philly

Bench: Hambrick, Pittman, Vick, L. Jordan

i drafted this team in august, and thought i would be in the playoffs easy. however, i now sit at 2-9. the only reason i'm 2-9 is because i've won my last 2 games. it's pathetic.

qb - farve*, holcomb
wr - moulds*, toomer*, holt*(wr/rb), chrebet, s. moss
rb - barber*, zereoue*, staley
te - franks*
k - longwell*, hanson
d - dallas*, atlanta

granted zereoue was a bit of a risk at running back, but i really felt confident with my team. moulds has killed a lot of teams, and unfortunately i drafted him in a lot of leagues. *sigh*, i have no idea why this team is 2-9.

Ugly season, and already out of it. I was one of the preseason favs to win too. Injuries have been just brutal.

Roster at seasons start. (this is a dynasty league so there are a few future prospects here)

QB Favre, Bulger, Holcome
RB Faulk, Henry, Buckhalter, McGahee, Fargas
WR Harrison, Moulds, D. Bennett, Borieghter, Bolden
TE Jolley, Des. Clark
K who cares - can't even remember
DE Pitt.

My philosphy going into the auction was to spend most of my salary on my starters, supplementing my team with cheap sleepers and waiver pick ups for bye weeks and depth. This strategy won me the leauge last year. I'm 3-7-1 this year. I think I've had my intended starting lineup all of once this year. So much for my vaunted strategy.

Oh yeah. Lucky me I traded Bolden + Holcome before the season to get Gordon to handcuff Faulk. Now I wish I'd kept Bolden since he was such a cheap sleeper - and would've added cheap depth for next year.

I've tried to remake my team with waivers and trades, but still can't buy a win. I also lead the league in points against. Here's my current roster.

QB Bulger
RB Faulk, Henry, Barlow, Bryson, Gordon, Rudi, McGahee, Fargas
WR Harrison, Moulds, Calico, D-Jax, Porter, Jurevicious
TE LJ Smith
K Kasay
DE Philly
