Witten for Miller?

Postby rattlers » Wed Nov 04, 2009 10:50 pm

Okay, first off greetings one and all! I am new to this forum and this is my first year doing FFB, so I will try to help out as much as I can in the forums, but not sure how much my saged wisdom is worth these days haha.

Anyway, below you will see my roster and the fellows roster that I am wanting to trade. I have a feeling that over the next few games Jason Witten isn't going to pick up his game any. Dal sched is not that soft (PHI, GB, NYG, NO,). Now they do play WA a couple of times and Oak is in there, but I just don't see him being that productive for me.

On the flip side, Heath Miller has netted 62 points to Wittens 39 (in my league at least) and their sched seems a bit more pleasing for the TE position. Pitts is playing Den this monday and Denver likes to rush the QB and this should create opportunities for Big Ben to spread the plan and dump off to Miller quite a bit (I think he is going to be a big factor in the game with quick slants and underneath passes).

My quandary is that Jason Witten is considered a STUD and I keep being told "Never trade a stud." However, if he isn't preforming -- and he hasn't done so to the level he could have -- wouldn't miller be a better pick with the up coming games?

Anyway, just needing to make sure I am not making a stupid mistake by offering Witten for Miller.

Thanks again and like I said, I will help all I can.

Rattlers out.

WOuldnt do it.. I think Witten has better games ahead. And not high on Miller. I would prob trade him for Vernon Davis, but not really any other Tight Ends that emerged this year. Maybe SHianco but prob not..

Can you help with mine???

Sometimes you just gotta be patient. Witten was highly rated coming into the season for a reason ... he may not reach what people had projected for him, but he's still got some good games ahead of him yet to come.
