I am in a standard scoring 10 team yahoo league, no ppr. I am debating on benching Ronnie Brown and playing Jamal Charles this week. I know that is crazy. My other running back is Joseph Addai who I will be playing. Any advice on whether to play Charles or Brown would be great. Leave your posts and I will help in return.

Thats not an easy situation. Ronnie didnt do well last week and last meeting against the PATS he didnt have great numbers. It appears as if this could be Charles big week as its gonna be his first game taking most of the carries in the backfield (atleast i hope). Charles has the potential to put up huge numbers so its a big risk vs reward situation. If you have the cojones to play Charles, as I think I am too, do it.

I would stick with Brown.

Charles was a good pickup, but I'd like to see what you'll get out of him before relying on him as a starter. I'd stay with Brown until Charles proves he can be worthy of a start.

thanks for your help on mine. i love charles match up this week but i don't see how you can bench a stud like brown. i'd stick with brown still.

I'd stick with Brown too. As matchups go, he may have struggled last time out against NE, but he also tore them up last year when the Wildcat debuted. Charles is an intriguing matchup this week for someone who doesn't have a stud option that's closer to automatic, but I think Brown fits the "near-must start" description.
