Need help at TE. I had Owen Daniles and now he is done for the year. On the waivers I can get Fred Davis or Benjamin Watson. Which will be the better play this week? Leave your links and I will help out as well.

I would go with Watson for the upside. 'Skins offense is brutal.

There is nothing brutal about a guy who is going to get 10 targets a game. Fred Davis is the obvious choice as he will beecome waiver wire gold.

I would go Watson. I think the Pats will be throwing the ball more this week being up against a tough Miami run D. The Redskins offence is in disarray plus I like the Falcons D at home this week.

Thanks for the help with mine.

watson is fodder... davis has been at the Skins facility all week learning his routes and preparing to take the helm while Cooley is gone. I think Davis has WAYYYYY more upside! Not to mention the Falcons are 2nd in the league giving up points to TE's!

I think it's a toss up - I'd pick up Davis just in case he has a big game - you know Watson will be there next week as well in case he doesn't... Davis will get scooped up if he does

Do yourself a favor and pick up Fred Davis. Watson has the potential to catch a TD every week in that offense but he also is about the 5th option. Fred Davis has more upside and might be able to fill in quite nicely for Daniels. He was a 1st round pick afterall.

Now my reasons for Davis.

Last game against the eagles D 10 targets 8 catches 78 yds 1 td..... Watson will never see 5 targets in one game. Skins took Davis in 2008 over needs. He was the top te in the draft and they got him in the 2nd round even though they had cooley. The fact that he will get 10 looks a game is the reason you pick him up and start him for the rest of the season unless you have a elite te like gates. There are only about 6 te's I would start over Davis since he will get 10 targets a game and has already proven against a good d in Phili that he is a threat.

Davis 100%...I am even debating to start him with his favorable matchup over Heath Miller this week.
