Blockbuster trade help.. WHIR

Postby sixer03fan » Thu Nov 05, 2009 2:11 pm

yo,

I am currently in first place in my league but don't have a good second RB. I own Peyton and he has been great, but being in first place I am looking toward the playoffs and have been burned in the past by my stars resting the last few weeks. I am worried Peyton could be taking the last couple weeks off at the end of the year given how well the Colts are playing... The following trade would bring in a star RB and I would be dealing Peyton:

I give: Peyton Manning, DeSean Jackson, Knowshown Moreno
I get: Donovan Mcnabb, Frank Gore

Here's my team currently:

QB: Peyton Manning
WR: Desean Jackson, Randy Moss, Chad Ochocinco
RB: Maurice Jones Drew, Knowshown Moreno
TE: Kellen Winslow
K: Ryan Longwell
DEF: Green Bay or NE Pats

Bench: Matt Ryan, Donald Driver, Kevin Smith, LeSean McCoy

I might be losing value in this trade... But I'm thinking I can start Donald Driver who has been great, and put in Frank Gore and DMac into my lineup... I lose Peyton but again I'm scared about his playing time come fantasy playoff time.

Leave a link and i'll get back to you... Thanks.

I think you are giving up too much. I like the idea of getting rid of Manning, but you shouldn't get rid of Moreno to do it. McNabb is spotty enough as it is.
Yay for Offensive Coordinators!!!

Perhaps you should offer your first born as well lol.

Remember trading is like dating. Don't appear like you really really like some one, just show a earnest interest and close the deal haha.

I would pull the trigger.
Pairing MJD and Gore is solid.

Denver is garbage and Orton is about to get exposed. Don't forget that Moreno is just a rookie. If he starts to falter McDaniel is giving the rock to Buckhalter.

I love Peyton but this trade for you is about winning a championship. You are essentially taking Peyton's points and distributing them across your roster with this trade.

DO IT!

Help me out please

yeah, you're giving up way too much.
I would just rely on Ryan if that situation does happen

i think you're giving up TOO much. Losing Peyton and DJAX will hurt. Gore hasn't been TOO great lately. I actually think you're ok with Moreno and Kevin Smith as your RB2. Don't do it.

help me out please???

I wouldn't do it. Peyton is too valuable to give up for McNabb. I would see if you can get Romo or someone better than Donovan. Gore is good but still getting over an injury.
