His AP and Collie for my D Williams and Colston...WHIR!!!

Postby Therobsclub » Thu Nov 05, 2009 5:37 pm

Do I make this trade? I don't see how I don't make this trade? I get the top RB in the NFL. Only thing that worries me is him being benched during the playoff weeks if the Vikes clinch homefield, although I think it could go down to the end with them and NO. I can lose Colston since Calvin Johnson seems to be coming back from injury and can throw bradshaw, McCoy, or Collie in there! What do you think? WHIR as always!

QB Tom Brady
WR Colston
WR A Johnson
RB Forte
RB D Williams
TE T Gonzalez
WR/RB Calvin Johnson (Flex)
K Kaeding
D Pitt D
Bradshaw
McCoy
Hasslebeck
Floyd
Indianapolis D
Adrian Peterson....The NEXT Walter Peyton!

Tough one -- I think it's a pretty fair deal. I don't see how Carolina could be worse in the second half of the season, so I think Williams will have a pretty good second half -- I think I would still pull the trigger though to get AP.

I would pass on this trade if I were in your position with your current roster. Collie isn't going to bring near as many points as Colston rest of the year. Then when it comes to Deangelo and AP, I see D. Williams being used and used and used by Carolina the second half.

I can appreciate your want to pull the trigger for AP, but I think you have a better team now than you would if you made trade because of the WR thrown in and......

Also Adrian is on a bye this week so you will lose out on a Deangelo's and Colston's (30-45pts)whole week and all you get in return in Collie?(8pts)
:-t

Just my opinion, I would hear yours

Thanks for the WHIR

If you really want AP, go for him. He is on a bye so this is as low as his value gets (never going to be too low). See if he will take Forte and Colston for AP and Collie. I do not like giving up DWill and Colston for AP. I think Forte will have 3 goods games in him from here on out. His sched. is awful.

IF you REALLY want AP, then I say do it. But you are giving up A LOT for him. Colston is the top target in NO and DWILL might just be 3-5 points off of AP per week, if not even. If it were up to me, I'd stick with the team you have.

help me out please???

you do that in a heartbeat. AP is the best RB, and deangelo is not worth all the hype that he gets IMO. deangelo is starting to split half the carries with Jstew and stew is getting alot of goal line looks. colston is also a stud but u still would have CJ and andre, and i think the upgrade at rb is much more worth it. plus i almost always prefer to start a rb at the flex position. i know some people dont think its worth it, but whenever u can get an even deal for AP and ur not overpaying a crap load, u take it.

help with mine?
