Postby wyld stallions » Thu Nov 05, 2009 8:25 pm

Ok, I was offered McCoy and one of SSmith (Car), Housh, Sim Walker or maybe hester for Hightower and Bowe.

Who should I go for?

12 team, 2 Keeper league (one must be a rookie on your bench by week 3), ppr, h2h, 6pts/all tds, 1/30yrds passing, 1/10yrds rushing/receiving, 3 pts bonus for 300passing yrds/100rushing yrds/ 100 receiving yrds.

My team:
QB: Schaub
RB: AP, LT, Charles, Hightower, Benson, Chester
WR: Jennings, Bowe, Knox, Mason
TE: Olsen, Celek
K: Brown
D: Den

If you want to make this trade, I would go or letting Housh go. I would hang on to Smith for a few more weeks and see if his season turns around.

sorry I am an idiot. I have Hightower and Bowe. and would be getting McCoy and who. We get to keep a rookie so McCoy's value is higher than normal.

I would do it. Hightower has been getting the job done, and bowe is solid.

Hightower's rushing yards are horrific however he has been getting the endzone opportunities, which is great. I would stay with what you got.

Thanks for the help on mine. I would stick with what you have. Hightower deosn't seem to be going anywhere, despite the Wells hype.
12 Team League. We start 2 QBs and get .5 PPR, otherwise standard scoring
QBs: Stafford, Fitzpatrick, Collins
RBs: Charles, Mendenhall, Best, Starks, Carter, Karim
WRs: D. Jackson, Marshall, S. Smith, Green,

I like McCoy more than Hightower but he is in a timeshare so he will be unreliable. Atleast Hightower gets a lot of receptions and goal-line looks. Giving up Bowe for any one of those guys doesn't seem like an upgrade. You can start Bowe each week as KC's #1 and know they will be throwing ALL GAME FROM BEHIND.
I just don't see how it is an upgrade for you. It's a gamble, maybe Sims-Walker breaks out, or Westbrook goes down, or ______________________. The point is it just doesn't seem to really improve your team, no matter who the wr is.
Good luck

I think you should just stick with what you got. Hightower can be productive and Bowe is a big target for a team that will have to come from behind to win.

help me out please???

What if I offer him Hightower for McCoy or Hightower and Knox for McCoy. I need to pick up a qb for next week. I would not be usuing McCoy this year but he could be a great addition for next year (you get to keep one Rookie for a year).
