considering offering SJax and MSW to Team A for Thomas Jones. Team A is light on WRs and thought TJ will get more TDs and roughly the same yardage going forward than SJax.

or

I could offer Pierre Thomas and MSW to Team B for Michael Turner. I don't know if the guy would go for it, but he IS a Saints fan. I'd just rather have the stability that Turner would give me; I'm tired of picking wrong between PT and Bell (although if I make no moves, PT is starting for the rest of the year).

WHIR. leave a link.

The Turner deal is one I might do. The question about Thomas is what will the distribution of carries be in NO? The NO schedule certainly is favorable down the stretch. Thomas did much more with his share vs. ATL so does that change the distribution? I doubt it and would feel more comfortable with Turner. 150 yds vs. NO Def this year is impressive.
The 1st trade I don''t really see as a huge upgrade. Maybe I am a TJ hater but I don't value him over SJax, who despite 1 TD all year, gives you 100-120 total yards EVERY week. I know that isn't an explosive number, but it is consistent. Another reason to dislike it is that you are giving up MSW who has averaged 10 points a game in those he has played. He laid an egg last week so his value is not as high as it might be after this week.
So, I would do the Turner deal if possible.
Good luck.

First, is this a PPR??

If so, I hate the first trade. SJax is far superior to TJ. The second trade is close. Do you have the depth to trade away MSW. He is putting up numbers and I feel he will continue to from here on out. Pierre is a solid back and though I think it will be RBBC for the rest of the year. He gets it done. Turner is a great back and would be the best player in the trade. I would actually do the trade for him as long as you have the depth at WR.

thanks for the replies. it is a non-PPR league. I have Jennings and Hines as my other two WRs and can pick up Floyd off of waivers.

my one concern is that Team B doesn't need a WR that badly. at least, that's imho. he may feel otherwise.

Yes, I wouldn't at all do the SJax deal. Not straight-up for TJones, and certainly not with throwing in a decent WR like MSW. SJax has been a bit unlucky this year with not getting into the endzone. When healthy, he's a beast.

The Turner deal would be great, but it'll be a tough sell (you better hope his Saints fandom blurs his fantasy judgement). It wouldn't hurt to offer it though ... it's certainly not insultingly bad or anything.
