Completed a Trade for SJAX...Need advice 100% WHIR

Postby ftandiama » Fri Nov 06, 2009 12:24 pm

So I just completed a trade for Steven Jackson at will go into effect for Week 10.

I GET: Steven Jackson

I GAVE UP: Carson Palmer (my back-up), Nate Burleson (my 4th receiver)

What do you guys think about it? Just want to know if you guys feel like I made a good deal.

after this trade goes through, here is my line-up:

need to start: QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, W/R (FLEX), TE, K, DEF/ST

My starters are in RED

QB: Matt Schaub
WRs: Reggie Wayne, Marques Colston, DeSean Jackson
RBs: Matt Forte, Ray Rice, Steven Jackson, Jamaal Charles, Justin Fargas, Darren McFadden
TEs: Dallas Clark, Brent Celek
K: David Akers
DEF/ST: Steelers

I'm thinking about dropping one of my extra running backs to pick up another back-up QB and WR. Any suggestions on who I should drop?

QBs like Matt Cassel, David Garrard, Jason Campbell, Mark Sanchez, etc are available as of right now on the waiver wire. I need a QB to fill in for Matt Schaub for week 10.

WRs like Mike Thomas, Donnie Avery, Eddie Royal, Michael Jenkins, Bryant Johnson, Kenny Britt, Josh Morgan, etc are available on the waiver wire. Who should I pick up???

Thanks in advance. Leave a link. 100% WHIR ;-D

i agree with the guy above. i would drop either mcfadden or fargas and pickup either cassel or garrard. you can't go wrong with either one. both QB's face each other this week, but i might lean towards garrard bcuz KC's secondary got hurt with the loss of jarrod page this week, he might be able to exploit that loss but JAX has also said they want to limit garrard a bit and get the ball in the hands of MJD more. either way u can't go wrong.

help with mine?

I would wait until I see what McFadden does before dropping him. It semms like there are a lot of QBs free so waiting a while may not be bad.
12 Team League. We start 2 QBs and get .5 PPR, otherwise standard scoring
QBs: Stafford, Fitzpatrick, Collins
RBs: Charles, Mendenhall, Best, Starks, Carter, Karim
WRs: D. Jackson, Marshall, S. Smith, Green,
TE: Hernandez, Cook
