Is Jamaal Charles worth dropping one of these guys?? WHIR

Postby k9numbnutz » Fri Nov 06, 2009 5:38 pm

My starters are set (MJD, Grant, Barber) but Im always looking for a solid stable in case the "i" word happens to one of them.

Jamaal Charles (KC) is available on waivers. Should I drop: Beenie Wells, Jamal Lewis or Mike Bell for him? Remember Im thinkin long term here, not just this week.

I will help in return!

Thanks all! ;-D

I would drop Lewis for Charles. I think Harrison will become the featured back by year end.

I think I'd drop Wells. Despite rumblings of him getting a bigger slice of the ARI running game as the season goes on, we're halfway through and Hightower isn't going away. At best, Wells will get the carries between the 20s on running downs ... with Hightower getting the passing downs and goal-line touches. That's the short end of the stick IMO. Charles is certainly a gamble. But his upside is that LJ either gets released or benched, leaving him with lots of touches. And Charles has always done well with his limited touches.

I say drop Lewis. I don't see any value in owning any Brown whatsoever. Particularly one who runs behind that line.

I would drop Lewis. He's done. Wells has way more potential for this year, even though I don't think it'll happen.
