Charles or Megatron? WHIR

This is probably the strangest start/bench question I've ever had. Normally I wouldn't have any problem starting a stud WR over a recent WR pickup, but given the current situation, I'm not sure.

I have Vincent Jackson and Andre Johnson starting at WR, and RIce and Turner starting at RB, so the two guys in question are vying for the FLEX spot.

Do I start Jamaal Charles at JAX or an injured Calvin Johnson at SEA?

I would go with JCharles, I think that he will have a good game! Megatron has to prove himself to me, since he's been out for so long.

I think I would also go with Charles here. I like Megatron, but Charles is safer and I don't think you sacrafice upside here with Charles having a nice matchup against Jacksonville.

First of all, given your starting WRs and RBs (w/out knowing the size of your league), I'd say you're in pretty good shape either way. You are lucky in that Rice and VJax are both outperforming their ADP. So your flex position is icing on the cake. I'd go with Charles for a couple reasons: Charles is going to touch the ball a lot, or so it seems. He'll probably get 4X the touches that Johnson gets. Johnson is one false move away from sitting again....Also, he's listed as questionable, and while it looks as if he'll play, if he doesn't he plays in the 4:00 game, which could give you trouble if he's declared inactive, depending on the rest of your roster. Jamaal is safer here. Good luck! (I don't think you'll need it).

I would go with Charles. WRs can disappear at any time and do nothing.
