Maclin, Slaton or Moats? WHIR

There's an added twist to my decision this week. Calvin Johnson is, by all accounts, playing, but after getting burned last week I'm a little wary, especially because he's playing in the late game. If I start Slaton or Moats, I can keep JMac in reserve in case Calvin can't go. But if I start Maclin and he's a late scratch again, I'm screwed (and I don't even really have anyone on the bench worth dropping).

So I'm leaning toward one of the Houston backs. My instinct says they'll give Slaton another chance to win his job back, though there's always the risk that he fumbles again. But I'm also not sure if I can really extrapolate much from Moats' performance vs Buffalo. I mean, it was Buffalo.

Thanks for the help. I heard C. Johnson is playing as well and Det. will need to throw a lot to keep up so I like him today.

If you are trying to pick between Slaton & Moats, I heard they will be splitting 50/50 today which makes it even more difficult but I like either better than Maclin. I think I'd go with Moats in this one.

This is a tough decision considering either one of those guys could have a big day... Id go with Slaton though, I dont think the coaches will hate on him for too long.

Thanks all for the help. I've decided on Moats. The deciding factor was a) red-zone carries and b) if the division of labor is unclear, you go with the starter over the reserve.
