Smith and Crabtree or Ryan and White

Postby foose4string » Sat Nov 07, 2009 11:46 am

Should I start Alex Smith and Mike Crabtree against the Tennessee's worst ranked pass defense in the NFL? Smith hasn't looked bad in the last two games and it seems like Crabtree is learning the system quickly and going to be a favorite target. It's a huge gamble, but one that may pay big dividends. Or....

I also have Matt Ryan and Roddy White. They are playing Washington this week, who despite their trouble winning games and producing offense, are ranked second defending the pass. Washington is not giving up a ton of points, they just cant get things going on the opposite side of the ball. Ryan hasn't exactly been stellar or the fantasy stud this year, but he's an decent play. And White, the big play guy, who is getting a lot of looks depite having a slow start this season, is making a case for himself as a must start fantasy stud as of late. These guys are the safer play IMO. Is the Washington "D" overrated? Should I start these guys and not think twice?

Let's hear it.

I would go with Smith and Crabtree against that TEN D. I have MRyan and I'm benching him. Washington's D is good and White has not fully practiced this week so he is not 100%.

Go with the Niner tandem.
