I need big time help on this one, I have Thomas Jones on bye and am already starting J Stewart and Bradshaw (flex). I want to believe Slaton will bounce back but I have watched every Texans game (Sunday Ticket) and he looks like crap except in the screen game!
On the other hand, Moats was hitting the hole with conviction last week (granted against the Bills). He also looked good in short yardage and the passing game. UGH!!! I'm so stuck on this one, I'm 4-4 and in 5th place in a 10 teamer, need to start winning to make playoffs (top 6 teams).
Please Help!!!!!
Thanks, Steveo

In my one league where I have both I'm sitting both but if I had to pick I'd have to go with Slaton if seeing what Moats did doesn't lite a fire under Slaton's ass I don't know what will.
Frankly, this is pretty much a coin flip. I've heard that the Texans are planning to spread it around more now, but Slaton is the proven commodity, so I don't see how you can start Moats over him. It's good to have him as Slaton's handcuff, but until you know that Slaton won't get the touches (Moats is the announced starter or Slaton gets injured, for instance), I just don't see how you could start Moats. It's a coin flip for points, but in terms of who you start, I think that you have to go with Slaton, unless the Texans announce Moats as starter before game time (doubtful).
changes everything for me, I just made the lineup change! I envision Moats as the 1st and 2nd down back and Slaton as the 3rd down back since his strength is in the passing game. Brown's role will likey not change and he will be sprinkled in as well. Kubiak said he wants no negative yards or fumbles from any of the backs (2 things that have defined Slatons year).
I am rolling with Moats, who's with me???

I'm in the same boat...I have both, and no other great options. I had been leaning towards Slaton, but now that Moats is the announced starter, I wonder if I should go with him instead. I'm thinking that if Moats does well in the first 1 or 2 series, then Slaton may only get 10-12 touches the whole game. Plus, Moats is more likely to get the goal-line touches, since he scored 3 TD's last week.
Oh, and if Slaton fumbles again, he probably gets benched the rest of the game; whereas if Moats happens to fumble, he'll probably not be benched immediately.
Ugghhh, what do we do here?????
